    Glossary
    • Annual Benefit Limit (ABL) ​: The maximum amount Manulife will pay for the insured's covered medical expenses (hospital confinement, special procedures, emergency treatment leading to confinement, and land ambulance service) within a year. This amount resets every time the policy is renewed. ​
    • Annual Deductible: The amount the Policy Insured must pay toward hospitalization cost before Manulife covers healthcare expenses. This deductible can be settled using PhilHealth, existing HMO (Health Maintenance Organization), or out-of-pocket.
    • Telemedicine​: The use of digital communication, such as video calls, phone calls, and online messaging, to provide healthcare services remotely. It allows patients to consult with healthcare professionals without needing to visit a doctor's office or hospital in person.​
    • Letter of Authorization (LOA) : A document issued by ValuCare permitting you to avail of Medical Secure's medical services​
