Where can I access eClaims?
You can access eClaims at https://eclaim.manulife.com.ph/
When can I use eClaims?
You can use eClaims to file a claim online for the following benefits:
- Outpatient
- Hospitalization
- Major Disease/Critical Illness
- Disability
- Death
Who can file via eClaims?
- Policyowner
- Policy beneficiary
- Financial Advisor
- A person with Special Power of Attorney (SPA)* to confirm rights to file for a claim on behalf of the policy owner or policy beneficiary.
*Please upload a copy of the Special Power of Attorney (SPA)* upon filing
How do I file a claim through eClaims?
- Input the policy Number of the policy you want to make a claim for.
- Select the claim type:
- Outpatient
- Hospitalization
- Major Disease / Critical Illness
- Disability
- Death
- Upload specified documents required for your claim and provide a mobile number so we can keep you updated about your submission.
Can I submit partial documents?
No, you need to submit all required documents to go through with the claim filing.
Is there a file size limit for document upload?
Yes. 8MB per file and total of 60MB collectively.
What if my document’s file size is beyond the limit?
Please upload a smaller file. If you're using your phone to take photos of the documents, you may reduce the image resolution in your phone settings.
How can I follow up my claim?
You may follow up on your claim by emailing phclaims@manulife.com. Please indicate your reference number in the subject line.
How will I know if my claim has been approved?
You and your Financial Advisor will receive an email notification from phclaims@manulife.com if your claim is approved or denied.
How will I receive my claim benefits?
Your claim benefit will be deposited to the bank account you provided in the payment details option in eClaims.
What do I do when I encounter an error in the eClaims Portal?
Here's how to troubleshoot the following errors in the eClaims portal.
- "Sorry! Your session has expired. Please try again."
You will see this error when your screen has been idle for more than 30 minutes. Simply refresh the page and restart your submission.
- "You entered an invalid phone number. Please try again."
Enter your mobile number without the country code. It should start with 9 and should be 10 digits in total. (e.g. 9171111111).
- "Invalid format"
This error is specific to customers/financial advisors using an iPad iOS version 15.7 to access the eClaims portal and will appear when the user enters the policy number and taps on ‘Enter’ on the keypad.
To fix this, simply re-enter your policy number, tap anywhere on the screen, and then tap on ‘Continue’.
